A gal from Sacramento decided to put her “Frequent Floater” credit toward a day on Cherry Creek.
Dear Diana,
HI! Cherry Creek was AWESOME!!! It was by far the best rafting experience ever! I was extremely satisfied with the trip…it left me wanting more! I cannot wait to go again next season. The whitewater was exquisite, beautiful and daunting. There is no other river like it, and I cannot boast enough about the experience! Danny was my guide, and he was so fabulous. The best guide by far in my opinion. He really knew the river like the back of his hand! His skills were very impressive! I honestly can’t think of any improvements you guys could make. I love All Outdoors, and will never raft with anyone else! Did you get a chance to go yet Diana? Obviously, I would REALLY recommend it!
Talk to you soon,
Lauren B

Feed back from a father and son out of Modesto who joined us for the ultimate experience.. Cherry Creek.
Roxanne,
Sorry for my delay in responding to your email.
Our trip was absolutely awesome! It was a trip I will remember forever and to have been able to share in this experience with my son before he ships out makes it that much more special for me.
Everything about this trip was first class. Especially your guides, Adam in particular. Adam very friendly and came across as being incredibly knowledgeable in what he does which made a huge difference in our confidence with each series of rapids we went through.
Your team of guides and their focus on safety made all the difference in world. I have already told so many people about this experience which I have highly recommend to everyone.
By all means feel free to contact me next summer for another trip. Speaking of which, do I have to swim across the river again? That was a killer, but I did make it. Thank god!
Also,
Thank you to the office with trying to find us a place to sleep the night prior. We got lucky and we able to stay in that Hostel in Gorveland which you informed us about.
Thanks again for the truly memorable lifetime experience.
Regards,
Kevin J. Culpepper

Feedback from a long-time guest and friend of AO on his most recent Cherry Creek rafting adventure.
Roxanne, that day was over the top with excitement, thrills and non-stop action. I was scared, confident, breathless, and astonished at every rapid. It was like each rapid built on the last and was more and more intense. It seemed as though the last 9 or so years rafting with AO was rolled into one stretch of river and made memorable by the unintentional surfing at “unknown soldier” and skilled guidance by Danny Walker…the man!
River flows on time and 1200cfs as planned..CC was kind to me that day.. I was only beckoned to swim with her once..but I kept Adam’s rule #1: “I stayed in the boat”.
I have begun a series of Haiku that I will share with you soon which hopefully will put some fabric to my experience on CC compliments of AO…what an organization!
All the best to you and your future endeavors on the rivers.

Feedback from a Cherry Creek rafting on July 27, 2009.
Hi Diana,
The trip was fantastic and the only feedback I have is that it needs to
include a radio spot at the end so we could scream to the world about how
awesome it was.
Such a great memory & I’ve never been more satisfied with an adventure tours
company in my life.
Thanks for everything!

A group of 4 from San Francisco joined us for the ultimate California rafting challenge.. Cherry Creek.
Jeremy,
Thanks for the inquiry and sorry it has taken so long to respond.? We all had a really great time!? You have an excellent staff and our guide Noah was awesome!? I feel that what makes this rafting trip different than any we have been on in the past is the learning environment that you have instilled. We all commented how we particularly enjoyed learning from all the guides. They all seemed willing to display
their knowledge and work with us on developing our skills. (of course it is necessary on that river!!) Nevertheless, not only was the trip enjoyable but we all learned some valuable information about the river, and rafting! But of course our guide Noah was the best!
Our only disappointment was that there was not a professional photographer on the trip. It was offered that we could give our own
camera to one of the guides, but we forgot. (I (Nora) was way too nervous to remember!!)
We will definitely let others know how great our trip was and what a thrilling river it was to raft.
Sincerely,
Nora and Dan G.

Vito P has been on several rafting trips with AO, but this was his first time on the unparalleled Cherry Creek.
Hey Jeremy,
The trip was incredible. I can’t think of anything but positive comments about the experience. The briefing in the evening was helpful. Breakfast in the am was fine except I probably shouldn’t have had the bagel as it didn’t sit well especially after the class v test
. The class 5 test certainly adds to the pucker factor. I’ve never fallen out of the boat so having to swim a rapid was a new experience for me. Certainly gave me inspiration to work harder to stay in the boat during the day.
The guide team was great. Adam is an excellent lead whom I’ve learned to implicitly trust and having met some of the other crew on the Cal Salmon trip made a huge difference.
I’ve been blessed with two pretty unique and special trips this year. Not really sure how I’ll outdo the experiences or if its even possible.
Feel free to contact me in the future although I do plan to continue to work with you guys as I have over the past few years. I still need to hit the North Fork Am and Kawaeh plus I am hopeful that we can get to do Cal Salmon again next year. Of course anytime you guys are doing something adventurous and/or off the beaten path with the guides and want to fill out a boat I’d be happy to grab a paddle.

Nick O. from Los Altos, CA did a Cherry Creek 1-Day Trip at high flows with 3 of his buddies from their HS Cross Country team. They were all 18 years old!
Hey Lenka,
I can honestly say that our Cherry Creek experience was outstanding.
All the other members of my group and i agree it will probably be the highlight of our respective summers. We did have two people fall in during one of the class fives but there was no problem, the guide boat was there to fetch them out of the water and return them to our raft. The river was beautiful, as was the canyon, although it was a little smoky on the day we went.
I can tell you with some certainty that i will be returning to go on more rivers with All Outdoors. possibly the Cal Salmon or the Kaweah, although these trpis would almost certainly be next year. i was wondering if you or anyone at AO knows about a good place (company) to go on a whitewater kayaking trip, this trip has made me interested in tryin that out?
Thank you,
Nick

Feedback was sent to Roxanne in our Walnut Creek office by John W. from San Francisco, Ca. John joined us on one of our extreme Cherry Creek rafting adventures.
Dear Roxanne,
Cherry Creek lived up to all the superlatives we had heard. It was a great trip from start to finish. Particular credit to Adam Walker, our guide. His skill, his knowledge of the course, and his calm demeanor made the experience as thrilling and rewarding as it was. As usual, the entire A-O crew was first rate, friendly and helpful. We were the only commercial boat of five. The others were all A-O guides, so we could not have felt more secure the entire way.
Lola describes the experience as “transcendent and transformative,” to which I add “way cool.” (She reads more than I do.)
Thanks for a great ride.

This feedback about guide Noah Nash and the Cherry Creek Crew came from Deanna T. I quote Deanna here, “It’s long, but I think it’s worth the read.”
I enjoyed yet another phenomenal trip with AO, this time being Cherry Creek. The Creek guides are truly top notch in the industry. The years of experience behind their belts is quite apparent in their professional guiding style, with focus being on the safety of their guests so that all can enjoy a superb time down the river. They supplement the guests’ positive experience with their wonderful senses of humor and interesting tidbits of information about the natural and geological features of the local area.
Several years ago, I had a horrifying experience in rafting with another (well-known) rafting company. As a result of being on a boat with an unprofessional guide whose last concern was the safety of his guests, came home with a fractured shin, deep tissue contusions, and a newly-formed fear of rivers and rafting. I would never raft with that company again, based solely upon that experience. I lost faith in them and would never raft with them again. I have discouraged others from rafting with them as well.
This is when I stumbled upon AO one day while surfing the net. I researched the company, and after discovering a plethora of positive things about them, decided to revisit rafting again. The high skill set and conservatism the AO guides display over and over again helped me overcome my fear of rafting and restored my confidence in rafting guides. Your company is, hands-down, the creme-de-la-creme of the rafting industry. You should be proud of such a team of gifted men and women. Thank you!”
I also wanted to say a few words about Noah Nash. Please share this with Gregg and Scott. Although all your guides are incredibly talented, Noah is, in my opinion, the best of the best. And in speaking with some other fellow guests over the years, I’ve learned that my opinions are shared. Noah, being a veteran of AO now, truly exemplifies what being a professional river guide is all about. His conservative approach on the river is always appreciated, with his main concern being the safety of his guests. He guides with finesse and displays a high level of professionalism. He is extremely knowledgeable and educates his guests not only on technique, but on the natural history and geology of the area as well, all along with a refreshing sense of humor. He is an incredibly hard worker, barely even sitting down to take a bite to eat or a drink of water, just to make sure everything is done properly and on time. His passion for what he does is exhilarating and I’m sure, inspirational to the newer guides. Thank you for having such a wonderful individual on your team.

This feedback comes from Jack M. of Woodstock, MD. Jack joined us on one of our new Tuolumne / Cherry Creek Combo Trips.
The rafting was amazing. Adam and his crew were wonderfully proficient. He made us sufficiently prepared for the rigors of the adventure. It was one of the most excitingly enjoyable activities of my and my stepsons lives. The food was fine and the staff really relished the endeavor. If I can manage to get out there next year,we would love to do it again. It would be especially nice if fellow rafter Jim was along. The Lower / Upper combo trip that we inadvertently obtained was a great fit. Thanks again and keep me posted for the future.
