Hello David,
My (Our) rafting experience with All Outdoors was FANTASTIC. And my grandchildren enjoyed every bit of it. My grandson and would love a class IV trip next year. My grandaughter and the granddaughter that did not attend this year want to go again. Ben and Lewis were our guides. Ben was in our raft. They were great with instruction and Ben displayed true leadership in our boat. I and my grandchildren have nothing bad to say about any aspect of the rafting experience.

Feedback from a combined two-day on the South Fork American.. 1-Day on a Tom Sawyer Float Trip and the other on a 1-Day Express in August of 2007.

We had a wonderful experience both days. The guide Paul was awsome!!! Hunter was great.  We were very well taken care of.  The whole team including the wonderful driver Roy was very very positive. They were nice, accommodating, flexible and fun. Paul had the kids act as a guide when we got to the lower section and they had a blast!!!

Our visiting family is now back in Lebanon and they had a wonderful time rafting. Hunter took my daughter and I in his raft when she got scared and that made great difference to her.  Please feel free to call us next year. We will highly recommend your company.

The trip was awesome!

I was a bit worried before the trip began because I didn’t want my son to have any kind of unpleasant experience, in particular I didn’t want him to fall off the raft at any of the difficult rapids (I know this sounds over-protective… but I’m a Dad). The trip was not only great but also one of the best I have had. Lindsey was an awesome guide not only because of her skills controlling the raft and giving direction, but also for her charisma and positive attitude. The other guides were also great from what I got to see and they all worked quite well as a team. My kid loved the trip.

I am definitely rafting with you again next season.

Hey AO,

My husband and I rafted the Tuolomne yesterday and just wanted to thank you guys for the awesome experience. Our guide was Drew and he was so great. He was super-knowledgeable about everything from rafting to geology to Sierra history. Lindsey did the greeting/orientation and she was really good too, immediately making us feel welcome and very excited to get on the water.This was our second trip with you guys and we will definitely be back!

Hi Brian,

My group had a great time on the Tuolumne on Monday. Our guide was Dave, and he was a great navigator and very friendly. The river was a lot of fun with lots of rapids so we were always entertained. We were lucky enough to have great weather (warm but not scorching, a light breeze through the canyon.) We heard some others talk about the Cherry Creek trip and maybe we will be up for that next year. Thanks again for everything.

Hi Taylor,Our trip was a good as it gets! Since it was my first time out along with my friends and we had no idea what to expect, it’s safe to say that our expectations were met… and then some! We had an awesome time and our guide, Lindsay, was just as great. She kept us entertained and was very cool.

Just everything about the trip made the trip an experience I will never forget. Needless to say, I will be back up there again soon enough and I will be looking forward to booking it through All-Outdoors.

Hey Diana,

we had a great time! The food was incredible - really really good, far exceeded expectations and the guides were really fun. Sean was great - he adapted to us (i.e. made fun of us, which we like) and he is very smart (not everyday you get an engineer as a river guide) and Tessa is clearly a special human being - she was so much fun!

I got a lot of credit from my friends for ‘picking the right company.’

In hindsight, I personally would have liked a trip with more rafting (i.e. a longer trip than 2 days) but not everyone in my group agreed with that.

Thanks for a great weekend - I can’t wait to see the video.

Thanks for asking how our trip was. It was terrific! I was very impressed wit the advance info AO provided us. From the info you provided me over the phone when I signed up, to the confirming email and links to important info available on your website, down to your confirming call the night before. All this instilled great confidence in AO’s operations.

The pre-trip detail and info Sam shared on our ride to the put in was excellent. He covered all the main points and used humor throughout. He was very good at shifting from his jovial self to be more serious about the instructions he gave that involved personal safety.

The equipment was top notch and the in-the-boat instruction very clear and easy to follow.

The trip was a lot of fun. Both of my kids want to make this an annual trip and to bring cousins, aunts, and uncles next time too. No one fell out of our raft although I did catch Sam once and was able to pull myself back in on Chunder when I was thrown half of the way out. I loved Sam’s comment to me after he saw me pull myself in with one arm: “Chris, that was really gnarly!”

The food was great. we all had our fill and there were left overs - but not that much.

Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend AO to anyone considering rafting. We will also definitely be going again with AO next year and will likely be bringing along a few other family members to join in the fun.

P.S. Even if she denies it, we were all witnesses to Naomi asking Sam out for a date to find the four wheel trail and take it down to the river some afternoon! Just ask Sam.

I have organized and booked several trips through AO including a group trip for 15 of my co-workers at VMware. I always come back to AO because I’m confident that the experience will be such that I don’t have to make any excuses to the people I “convince” to go. On the recent trip I organized with co-workers a number of the people in my group had never been rafting before and had to take my word for it that they would have a good time, which they did! I would not take that chance with any other rafting company. The experience as well as the attitude of the guides, combined with the equipment, preparation and of course the excellent food are what set All-Outdoors apart from others.

I just returned from a 2-day trip with my family on the Middle Fork of the American and really appreciate the special attention that was offered to us along with the rest of the guests. Seth, Brookie, Buba, Hobbit and the rest were great, and of course Canyon Girl! Remote camping in the wilderness with your family is a very special thing, but not easily achieved by most folks because of time, work and just knowing where to go and what to bring. But a rafting/camping trip with AO is so easy because they do all the planning, hauling, cooking, cleaning etc.
