Feedback from a group that just can’t seem to get enough. Fours trips in so far and talk of another in the works.

On September 19th and 20th my team and I enjoyed our third and fourth whitewater trip with AO in the past 3 months! We started this new adventure with AO late in the season but could not get enough. Having rafted the South and Middle Fork twice we can’t wait for the big guns next Spring. The craving for more came after our first trip down the South Fork with Lynsey, an amazing woman with an infectious personality and sweet disposition. The very next day I was on the internet booking our next trip down the Middle Fork. The next thing we knew we were splashing around with Dane, our playful thrill seeking guide along the 16 mile stretch of river!

Our last two trips were back to back on September 19th and 20th and we couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable weekend! Collin “row guided” our South Fork adventure as we showed up in Superman water wings, snorkels and Cartoon floaties! What’s more fun than making your experienced professional AO guide think he is in for a long day with 30 year old crazy people!! Ha ha! The joke was on us when Collin took us down the South Fork with a “Go Diego Go” floatie ring around his waist! We ended the weekend with an exciting trip down the Middle Fork guided by “THE MAN” Collin and Jerry who tested his skills on the white waters of the river. We paddled harder than ever before, raft surfed incredible waves and got off the raft with the worst case of “farmer’s tan”ever.

As we drove away I said to my team… “Well this was our last one for the season” and a sense of disappointment came over us all. Jay shouted from the backseat… “That can’t be it… One more Katie one more!” His wife Nakia looked over at me with the biggest smile on her face as her head nodded YES! WELL I can’t say no to those sad faces! HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!

I did want to say that the education you get from the guides at AO is amazing and fascinating! From the plant life to the movement of the water each trip provides knowledge of our lands and water ways. The guides cheer and share in your excitement even if they have guided that river a million times. A wise woman once said “Just a little bit of fun at a time guys.” To be honest we never really do anything “A little bit!” To all our new friends at AO thank you for the little things that made us smile, the big things that challenged us as a team and everything in between that made us AO Rafters for life!!!
